Since the Department was founded, it has aimed to cultivate “high-quality information application talents familiar with information technology and enterprise characteristics”. Assuming that the 21st Century is an enterprise-based, information-based and modernized society, whoever has knowledge in management and IT could effectively stand out in his/her future career. In the future, the Department will use its best efforts to complete the inter-disciplinary integration of information technology and business management knowledge as the focus of talent training, and will also orient its research toward making good use of business intelligence and enhancing enterprises’ competitive strength, in order to cultivate senior R&D talents in information management and respond to society’s needs for knowledge about the discipline of information management.
